Cafe Dante

Cafe Dante is an Italian restaurant in the heart of Little Italy, Montreal. From the outside this treasure doesn't even look like a restaurant but more like any other coffee shop. The Menu is short and sweet and that's usualy a sign that the food will be good right?! Everything is delicious but every time I go to Dante it's for their Gnocchi Ripieni which is stuffed gnocchi with porcini, mushroom pesto sauce and white truffle oil. The Gnocchi is in appetizer menu but I just ask the waitress to make it in a main meal portion :)

Jean Paul Gauthier @ Montreal Musée Des Beaux-Arts

Today on a sunny day off, a girlfriend and I went to go see the Jean Paul Gauthier exposition ... It was crazy! As soon as you walk in you see a mannequin of JPG and his models and they have a projector on their face that allows them to talk to you almost as if they were real. His collections are simply art, so much work, imagination ( a bit dark sometimes) and detail. The picture of the teddy bear is JPG's first toy and as a kid he already started to dress him up in corsets. It takes a whole 3 hrs to take of a corset off a model after each show. And if any of you are fans of the fifth element , i took a picture of his final sketches for the costumes ( if you look closely, he even 'ok' Leeloo sketch.
